Banks and other financial institutions freezing accounts

We have encountered a number of complaints about banks and other financial institutions freezing bank accounts and refusing to release the funds for extended periods of time. Some of these concern conventional brick-and-mortar banks and some online institutions, such as Chime.

Please contact us if your account was frozen. If done without justification the bank may be violating a number of laws.
